The GRDA in collaboration with SMILO – Small Islands Organisation held a three-day conference on ‘Circular Economy 
on Small EU Islands’ funded through Erasmus+
During the conference, local stakeholders shared their insight with participants coming from the Mediterranean islands of Frioul in France 
, Pakleni in Croatia 
, and Sifnos in Greece 
The conference focused on water conservation 
including the use of second-class water for irrigation and renewable energy 
in small islands.
