Today the GRDA held its second Tourism Conference – A Visitor’s Perspective.
Mr. Laurence Zammit, from MISCO, presented the findings of the survey amongst day trippers and holiday makers in Gozo.
Prof Marie Avellino gave a presentation on the opportunities and challenges of sustainable tourism.
Mr. Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority delivered a keynote speech on distinctiveness of Gozo as a tourist destination and the mission of the MTA to promote the island.
Mr. Mario Borg, CEO of the GRDA opened the conference while Ms. Daniela Sabino, Assistant Director at the Directorate of Tourism and Economic Development conclude the conference.
